  4. 1)
    2. I think it has become a bestseller because it isn’t common to see a story told by an autistic boy and such in a good way, the author knew a lot about this kind of kids so he knows how to tell the story and make believable the fact that an autistic kid was the narrator.
    2)
    3. I feel empathy for him, and I think he’s not even a likeable character because he’s really mean with his dad and this one was only trying to do the best and protect him, in addition he treats very well his mother, who has abandoned him and never helped with his maintenance.
    6. He found it necessary to lie because he wanted to protect his son like every father does, and thought that would be the best way to do it; in addition he believed that Christopher’s mother would never appear (what I think it’s true) so he wasn’t doing anything wrong. I think what he did is perfect.
    4. No of course not, it begins being a murder mystery novel but I think it ends like a kind of autobiography.

  5. José Almonacid

3)I fell sympathy for him because he is so particular. He doesn't like to be in touch with new people, he doesn't like to be touched, he doesn´t even like to be touched by his parents, he get nervous and uncomfortable for everything. I like this kind of characters.

4)I disagree, because killing a dog is irrelevant, that's not important.I think this is a drama, beacuse of the famlily problems,Chsitopher problems, etc.

8)I don't know if Chistopher is capable of change.I think he can improve his behavior and his actions.I think that he overcomed one of his worst problems,it was,he didn't like to be in new places, due to he didn't know them.By the end of the story he had to go to places that he had never known(train satation, mother's home), so i think that he could overcome that problem.

6)For Christopher is very hard to relate to other people because of his autism. He reacts in a very violent and unpredictable way, so nobody wants to be with him.For example, when somebody ask him many questions he get nervous and he is not able to answer them.

1- What did you enjoy about The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time? Was there anything you didn't enjoy? Why?
I liked The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time because the author tells the story from a place that he knew and describes Christopher from the illness that has with the benefits and cons that it caused.
2- Why do you think this book has become such an enormous bestseller?
I think this book has become a great bestseller because tell a good story about an autistic child and thinks that he live and how he feel and relate to their environment. And the way that the story is told has that anyone can read.
4- How easy did you find it to relate to Christopher? Do you feel that you were really able to get inside his mind?
I don´t know if I can get into Christopher´s maid but I think that he couldn´t relate because he has fear that someone hurt him or doesn´t love him. But Christopher has ways for communicate with other people.
I would like to enter his mind and understand what he thinks. 
5- Why is mathematics so important to Christopher? What else is important in similar ways?
The mathematics are very important to Christopher because is something that he likes and do well and develops his mind.

  7. 2. The Curious Incident
2-The author has created a very creibe image of a person with autism. If I had to think like christopher it would be very difficult, he possessed great intelligence.
4- Yes, I agree because the murder of the dog solve a lot of problems and Chrispher could change. In my opinion this is not a really murder mistery.
6- I dont think it was necessary to lie even though the father was upset by the abandonment of the mother. I think he should have shown him the letters.
8-Christopher is able to change, at the end he proves capable of doing many things alone. Maybe he need to overcome the fear he has for his father.
